Kenneth C. Newell, AIA, LEED AP
Ken is a senior principal with Stewart Cooper Newell Architects and a member of International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC). During his involvement with the Law Enforcement Facilities Design Studio, he has been involved with over 100 Public Safety Facilities and Emergency Services training facilities across the United States. Ken is a sought after speaker and author and has been published in Fire Chief Magazine, Carolina Fire Rescue EMS Journal, and other Public Safety Publications. He has also spoken at national ans state fire conferences helping many more departments successfully complete new facilities. Ken joined Stewart Cooper Newell Architects after graduating from North Carolina State University and University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he obtained his architectural degrees. Ken has also received training by the University of Maryland as a designer of burn buildings and other public safety training facilities.
